For four days, the iconic beach of Mylopotas was transformed into an impressive international beach volleyball arena, welcoming 53 men’s and women’s teams from 18 different federations..
From the qualifiers all the way to the grand finals, spectators enjoyed high-level matches, intense action, and unique moments, with Ios's natural landscape providing a stunning backdrop for athletes and visitors alike.
On the competitive side, Sam van der Loo & Mees Sengers from the Netherlandstook top honors in the men’s category, while the Greek duo Stavros Dallas & Dimitris Chatzinikolaou had an outstanding run claiming the silver medal. In the women’s event, Agostina Ghigliazza & Morena Abdala from Argentina captured the gold medal.
The Ios Futures Pro 2026 marked the consecutive Futures tournament held at Mylopotas, confirming Ios's established presence on the international Beach Volleyball map.
Beyond the matches, however, the Ios Futures Pro is a complete experience combining sports, tourism, and summer entertainment, promoting Ios internationally and showcasing the island’s potential as a sports tourism destination.
